The territory

Marina di Grosseto is a tourist bathing location situated between the evergreen pinewood of Maremma and long sandy shores with typical dunes which distinguish this town in the heart of Tuscan Maremma. This location borders the Natural Park of Maremma on Uccellina mountains; it's less than 1 hour by car from the Tuff Triangle (Sovana, Sorano, Pitigliano), from the famous thermal baths of Saturnia and from Montalcino famous for its wine Brunello. Many guided tours directed to Giglio Island, Montecristo Island, Giannutri Island, Pianosa Island, Capraia Island, Elba Island depart from Marina di Grosseto.

Windsurf

Marina di Grosseto is the place where the Olympic games winner Alessandra Sensini has made her first steps in Windsurf and where she's still training now.

Golf

Our hotel is situated in the centre of golf district of Maremma: 30 min from Golf Club Puntala and Golf Club Toscana; 50 min from Golf Club Argentario and Golf Club Saturnia Spa. Those lawns are not only interesting from technical point of view, but also they are very well located from the climatic point of view. Possibility of special conventions.

Cycling and cyclo-cross

Maremma, being the site of spring training of the most important Italian teams, offers a great variety of itineraries and a big quantity of bicycle paths.

Archaeology and History

We're in the centre of the most important Etruscan sites to which we organize well thought-out tours with and an experienced guide. Medieval and Renaissance Tuscany are then quite easy to reach for a day-tour. You can visit the archaeological sites of Roselle, Vetulonia with Etruscan Necropolis which are just 20 km far.
